Chocolate Makhana Energy Balls

No-bake energy balls that combine the goodness of makhana with rich chocolate flavor.
Ingredients

1 cup PopLotus Roasted Makhana, crushed

1/2 cup dates, pitted and chopped

1/4 cup cocoa powder

2 tbsp almond butter

1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)

A pinch of salt

Desiccated coconut for coating (optional)
Instructions

In a food processor, combine crushed makhana, dates, cocoa powder, almond butter, and salt.

Blend until the mixture comes together and forms a sticky dough. If too dry, add honey or maple syrup.

Roll the mixture into small, bite-sized balls.

Optionally, roll the energy balls in desiccated coconut.

Refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up before serving.
